Aside from Susan Kare and Steve Jobs, Kai Krause was also like a north star for me during my introduction into the transformative power of relatable software development. His trailblazing work in tools like Kai's Power Tools shattered conventional norms, setting a precedent for making digital creative tools accessible and deeply human. This democratization of design closely mirrored my own ambitions and affirmed the path I was carving out.

Krause had an exceptional focus on the human experience, something that deeply resonated with me as I worked to shape Apple's design language.
